Lisa Booth

Lisa Booth is a partner in the firm. She trained at Cameron Markby Hewitt (now CMS Cameron McKenna) and qualified as a solicitor in 1993. Following qualification she joined the corporate department of Fox Williams, where she worked principally for private corporate clients on UK M&A and private equity transactions. Her interests in emerging markets led her in 1996 to join CMS Cameron McKenna’s Moscow office where she worked until 1999.

Lisa later moved to work as an associate with the London office of US firm Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, where she worked on a range of public and private company transactions, acting for UK and international corporates. In 2003 she co-founded Starr & Partners LLP. Since the firm was founded, she has advised primarily on private equity investments, acting both for investors and for management teams, and private company M&A transactions. She has also advised on capital raising, AIM admissions, takeovers and group restructurings. Clients include private equity firms, US and UK software companies, telecommunications and broadcasting firms and a private healthcare provider.

Lisa graduated in jurisprudence from the University of Oxford in 1989 and passed the Law Society’s final examination at the College of Law in Chester.
